I have a few slots available for winter servicing. Winter takes a toll on brakes abd gears so it is a good idea to ensure that your bike is prepared. You can book in via my Facebook page of contact me via my website.
I have now got a card reader and can take all forms of payment.
I have added some new routes to my routes pages and will add more over the next few weeks. I have fixed quite a few “shed bikes” over the last few weeks as people are looking fro new ways to exercise. April bookings are filling up quickly so if yyou would like your bike done get in touch.
As I already work from home I can continue to offer my services. However I have changed my way of working to ensure that I comply with government guidlines.
1. I can continue to communicate with customers by Facebook, telephone of text.
2. During pick up and drop off I will operate a timed appointment system to ensure I only see one customer at a time.
3. I will observe guidlines on social distancing during drop off and pick up and ensure bikes are wiped over with sanitising wipes before collection.
4. I will be taking electronic payments wherever possible.
5. Obviously I would like to maintain my business over the weeks or months to come. I will complete work for the cost of parts only for those also facing financial hardship and needing their bike for travel to work.
If there are any other measures you think I should take please let me know. As I am sure you are aware we are all adapting as we go and trying to get things right.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or requests.
Having spent 2 hours sitting in a traffic jam on Monday I was reminded just why I usually cycle everywhere. If you want to beat the traffic it my be time to get your bike out and start cycling to work. I have serviced an safety checked two bikes this week for people doing just that. If you want to stay dry(ish) I would recommend fiting full length mudgaurds to your bike. I cab source and fit mudguards as part of your service for an additional £5 labour plus the cost of the mudguards themselves. See my Facebook page for details.
You can now book your service or repair slots directly through my Facebook page. I will confim any bookings by email and arrange delivery or collection with you. Search @cyclesherwood
Taking bookings for February work. Wednesdays are filling up but I do still have slots on a Friday.
I have also been adding routes to the route pages of my website. I have cycled all over Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and I am happy to take requests for route suggestions, especially if you are looking for quiet scenic routes to do more cycling.
I have a couple of slots free in the last two weeks of January and I am now booking in work for February. You can find a list of my services at https://sherwoodcyclerepair.com/servicing
